What's new in version 2.3
GA July 2, 2010
This release expands on expressor 2.2 with some important enhancements and further bug fixes. Listed below are some of the highlights from this release:
expressor processor
- Data windowing – enables a variety of low-latency processing models that do not require guaranteed delivery
- Header row support - the expressor in-file motor now has a configuration option that directs the motor to skip one or more rows at the beginning of the file. The out-file motor now has a configuration option that writes a header row to the output file. The header text is the value of the field's name attribute in the image file describing the structure of the output record.
- The expressor in-table, out-table, and in-sql motors are fully supported for use with MySQL Community Edition 5.1, Netezza 5.0, and PostgreSQL 8.4 relational database management systems.
installer
- Silent install support - expressor product components with the exception of the expressor repositor may be installed onto Windows hosts from a remote computer. It is no longer necessary to download the expressor installer to the computer onto which expressor will be installed.
expressor administrator
- Microsoft® Excel may be registered as a supported resource and image files for an Excel resource may be written.
