The executives and product team have developed, managed, marketed, sold, and delivered software and services solutions to many global 2000 companies in a wide range of industries.

Bob Potter

Chief Executive Officer
Bob Potter is responsible for expressor software’s business strategy and operating results. He has spent 27 years in the enterprise software industry serving in senior leadership roles at organizations ranging from venture-backed startups to large public companies. Formerly, as CEO of Kalido, Bob established Kalido as the dominant player in adaptive data warehousing and master data management, growing it from $5M to $20M in less than three years. As EVP of Field Operations of enterprise integration company IONA, he led IONA’s growth to more than $180M in sales and a $2B market cap over a multi-year period.

Earlier in his career, as SVP of Sales and Services at Object Design, he played a pivotal role in taking the company public in 1996. Bob also held senior management positions at ICAD and EDS Unigraphics. In addition to his role as CEO of expressor software, he also serves on the boards for Tailwind Strategies, Hamilton Thorne Biosciences, and Active Endpoints. He holds a BS degree in Marketing from Providence College and an MBA from the University of Rhode Island.

John Russell

Chief Scientist
John Russell is responsible for product vision and architecture as well as the design and implementation of the expressor semantic data integration systemtm. With more than 18 years of systems development experience, John is an expert in designing and implementing high-speed search techniques and data integration processes. His broad experience in search and data integration ranges from performance tuning, data modeling and analysis and star schema database design to architectural design, systems design, and implementation.

Before co-founding expressor software, John was architect and senior implementation consultant for a number of large-scale, complex data warehousing and data integration projects for Ameritrade, British Telecom, Mutual of Omaha, Cabelas, Union Pacific, United Airlines, Alltel, and Verizon. Earlier in his career, he was a principal consultant for Knightsbridge Solutions, specializing in Telecoms and Consumer-Handling ETL. His experience also includes several years at InfoUSA, where he managed the development of the company’s proprietary database and ETL products. John attended the University of Nebraska, where he majored in Mathematics and Computer Science.

Frank Fallon

Vice President of Sales and Business Development
Frank Fallon is responsible for expressor's worldwide sales and business development efforts, including building a direct field and inside sales organization and establishing global alliances with complementary technology vendors, value added resellers, systems integrators and solution providers. With more than 20 years of sales and management experience, he joins expressor software from BEA, where as SVP Americas he managed a team of 400 sales professionals and was directly responsible for all North and South American license business of $230MM.

Prior to joining BEA in 2002, Frank created and managed fast growing worldwide Financial Vertical teams at SeeBeyond and Tivoli Systems and established the Financial Vertical as the largest market segment for these firms. Earlier in his career, he spent several years in sales management at Sybase. Frank has a BA degree from Lafayette College of Easton, PA and an MBA in Finance from the Fordham Graduate School of Business of New York.

Michael Waclawiczek, Ph.D.

Vice President of Marketing
As Vice President of Marketing, Michael Waclawiczek oversees marketing and product management operations. He is also founder and associate of JumpStart Associates™, a management advisory and consulting company he founded in 2002. Michael is well respected in the software industry for bringing enterprise software products to market by successfully directing company product and marketing efforts to achieve market leadership positions.

Over 22 years, he has launched more than 20 major software products generating over $1B in total license revenue. During his career, Michael has held several executive and senior management positions at private and public companies including StreamBase Systems, Kalido, IONA Technologies, Riverton Software, Object Design, ICAD, and EDS Unigraphics. Prior to his corporate experience, Michael was Assistant Professor at the Technical University of Vienna, Austria, where he also received his Master's and Doctorate degrees in Mechanical Engineering.

John Strong

Vice President of Field Operations
John Strong is responsible for strategic account sales and the management of the pre-sales and professional services operations. With more than 20 years of information systems experience, John spent most of his professional career in data warehousing and data integration. Previous positions included senior technical and sales management roles at Ab Initio Software Corporation, Ascential Software Corporation, and Informatica Corporation. At Ab Initio, John developed and managed several strategic accounts including AOL, ACNielsen, Crate & Barrel, CSG, Discover, First Data Resources, InfoUSA, United Airlines, Williams Sonoma, and Wells Fargo. At Ascential Software, he architected enterprise-level strategies for Anheuser-Busch, SC Johnson Wax, Metavante, Concert Management, Miller Brewing, Digitalwork.com, and Strong Capital Management.

John was Informatica’s first employee based outside the San Francisco Bay area, and he successfully developed Informatica’s Central Region sales and technical office in Chicago. Prior to Informatica, John performed in a senior technical and system support capacity at Evolutionary Technologies Inc., and he spent more than a decade in IT manager roles at large corporations including First Chicago Corporation, Zurich Financial, and Morton Thiokol.

Steve Frechette

Vice President of Engineering
Steve Frechette leads all product development efforts for expressor. Within his first nine months, he established the company’s engineering organization and processes and led the company’s effort to develop and deliver the first release of the expressor semantic data integration system™. With more than 18 years of engineering management, technical architecture, and software development experience, Frechette has a strong track record in engineering operations, product development from inception to deployment, engineering organization, and leadership.

Prior to joining expressor software, Steve was a senior engineering manager at Blue Agave Software, a supply chain exception management startup, which was acquired by i2 Technologies in 2007. Steve held a similar management role at Oberon Software where he led the development of a complete EAI platform. Early in his career, Steve was a senior software engineer at Lotus Software. He has a BS in Computer Science from Northeastern University in Boston, MA.

Kimberly Cafferty

Chief Financial Officer
Kimberly Cafferty is Chief Financial Officer for expressor software. As founder and principal of Cafferty & Company, Kimberly works with a select set of senior management teams, providing CFO-level expertise and perspective across a broad array of key strategic, financial, and operational issues. With nearly 25 years experience serving in either a CFO capacity or as a comprehensive financial and business advisor to an international client base, Kimberly helps CEOs and senior management drive business vision and strategy. Kimberly's clients have ranged from well-funded early stage start-up ventures to mature, publicly held companies including Fortisphere, Experience, Diligent Technologies, OpenPages, Revivio, InteQ, eDocs, Biogen, and SeaChange International.

Kimberly began her professional career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she served as CFO for Vertigo Development Group, and she most recently worked at Charles River Ventures, where she was responsible for providing key strategic insights and driving best practices with respect to finance matters, early-business formation issues, and a broad spectrum of other strategic and operational areas. She received a BA degree from Simmons College and has had numerous speaking engagements for professional associations, including PricewaterhouseCoopers EyeOpener Series, MIT Technology Capital Network, and the American Society of Women CPAs.
