The expressor license model is based on usage and throughput, allowing companies to tailor their expressor systems to the specific data integration needs. expressor software defines usage in terms of channels — which are units of data parallelism. All current and future tools, metadata repositories, and data connectors can be used free of charge with the purchase of at least one processor channel. expressor also offers 6-month, 1-year and 2-year term licenses, further reducing your cost of ownership for smaller DI or one-time migration projects.

expressor software allows you to run as many applications (expressor drawings) as you wish, as long as these do not use more than the maximum channels your company has licenses for in any single application. You specify a channel in an expressor drawing as a parallel data processing path between two operations. For example, if you wanted to halve the elapsed time of data processing operations, you would double the number of channels between these operations to accomplish this, effectively distributing a complex operation or massive sort across more CPUs. expressor channels are licensed to you on a specific computer, but as a matter of policy we allow you to redeploy channels to another computer free of charge by issuing you a new license key for that machine.

expressor software also offers very affordable product maintenance, which is 20% of the list price for each channel. This includes 24 by 7 product support as well as product upgrades.
